Questions patients ask us most.
If you don't see your question below, our team is a phone call away.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, and many more. Please call our office to verify your specific plan.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
It depends on your plan. Many insurance plans allow direct access to a cardiologist. HMOs and some Medicare Advantage plans require a referral. Our team will help you check.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, any recent cardiac test results or imaging, and a list of questions for your provider.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can call us at 512-551-3490, request an appointment on our website, or message us through the patient portal. Same-week appointments are often available.
Do you offer transparent self-pay pricing?
Yes. We publish cash prices for many of our services and are committed to cost transparency. Please ask our team for a written estimate before your visit.
When should I see a cardiologist?
Consider a visit if you have chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, a family history of heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or a new diagnosis affecting the heart.
Is telehealth available?
Yes — appropriate follow-up visits and select consultations can be conducted via secure telehealth. Please ask our team when scheduling.
