Dr. Huseng Vefali is a board certified cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist and the founder of Austin Cardiology Clinic. Dr. Vefali has a wide range of expertise in care of heart disease including structural heart disease, percutaneous coronary and peripheral interventions.
After completing his undergraduate education at George Mason University in Virginia, he received a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration. He went on to earn his medical degree from St. George’s University where he became a member of the Clinical Research Honor Society. Dr. Vefali completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Seton Hall University St. Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey. He then moved to Pennsylvania for his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at St. Luke's University Health Network. Dr. Vefali’s research have been reported in numerous medical journals. He was the chief Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellow at St. Luke’s University Hospital. He has presented at national and international medical conferences. Dr. Vefali is an Associate Professor of Medicine at his Alma Mater, St. George's University School of Medicine. He was previously a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College teaching at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital prior to his move to beautiful Texas.

Claudia attended Texas A&M University in College Station for her Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences. She then attended Texas Tech University where she received a Masters of Physician Assistant studies. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
